New Music: NeRo AnGeLo "Id (ft. Ares)"

         First things first, HUGE s/o to the homie Ares for going off on the hook!

Secondly, since I know someone will ask, allow me to explain what the "Id" is.

According to Sigmund Freud, the consciousness is composed of three principles: The "id" which governs the unfiltered desires, wants and needs of a person, the 'super-ego" which represents learned morals, standards, social norms, etc.., and finally the "ego" which represents reality and attempts to satiate both the id and the super ego.

So, in the case of this song, it represents the more cocky and disrespectful side of me; ignoring the morality of the Super-Ego and the reality of the Ego.

But anyway, this is my new track that's actually a 2 for 1 deal. First is "MedicineMan" produced by the homie Adam True (S/O to GGE and 7Society) who's other work you can find here. Aaand, because y'all should know I like flipping tracks and samples, the second part, dubbed "Water" is produced by me and features a lil transition that I'm sure my fellow DragonBall fans will love...well, I feel I've plugged myself enough for one post lol

New Developments and Etc...

This is my "Chill" face lol

What's good, y'all! I know its been a WHILE since I made a legitimate post on here (yea I been lackin). But, I wanted to take this time to catch up and hip y'all to some new things in the world of NeRo.

First off, my next show will likely be on April 22nd (Keep y'all posted on that)

Secondly, my bro Desean's 1st album is out and available for purchase on several sites and stream here.

Third, I MIGHT HAVE A BAND, Y'ALL!!

Things are still in the beginning stages so I won't run my mouth too much about it but just stay tuned.

And finally, the bro J Rivers is FINALLY working on his debut tape...I'll be keeping y'all posted on that as well.

Aaaaannnnndddddd FINALLLY, finally.
I've got a LOT of new music that hasn't hit the airwaves yet, I'm just sorting things out and seeing which ones will sound best.

This new track relates to just that, Self-Sufficiency.

Specifically in respect to blacks, it is my belief that we must be more blatant and unapologetic in our promotion and love of our blackness...no one else can do that better than we ourselves, hence the title.
